The Mindanao State University–Maigo College of Education, Science and Technology (MSU-MCEST), under the leadership of 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐀. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫, recently conducted official visits to Indonesia and Malaysia to strengthen its international partnerships and promote academic collaboration. In 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐤, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚, the MSU-MCEST team visited 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐚 (𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐍) to reinforce its partnership with the university. During the visit, Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) were signed with various departments under the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Engineering. These agreements support joint research, faculty and student exchange, and other collaborative academic programs. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐔𝐫𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚, two distinguished professors of UNTAN, warmly received the team and played key roles in coordinating the visit. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫 delivered a message during the visit, where he highlighted the best practices of MSU-MCEST and shared its strategic direction towards internationalization. Lascuna serving as one of the featured speakers. The meeting focused on exploring a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between MSU-MCEST and UPSI to promote collaboration in teacher education, research, and faculty development. These international engagements reflect MSU-MCEST’s firm commitment to academic excellence and global partnership-building. Guided by the vision of Atty. Basar, the institution continues to broaden its reach and deepen its impact through strategic collaborations that align with its mission of delivering quality education, academic excellence, and exemplary service.
